"Elkford has been the best place for my family as we love the outdoors, and my partner grew up here. The mountains are our home. I also like to think I have a creative side and enjoy using my hands to paint, write and all the way to making soaps."

"From a young age, I always saw myself as "The Friendly Giant". I have always gotten happiness from watching people succeed, and had heard for years that these actions and ways of thinking would be good in an education setting. I had already had experience with both younger siblings and working with other people's children during gatherings, so I took a shot at babysitting. I absolutely loved it, and the excitement I saw when doing simple experiments like Baking soda mixed with Vinegar reminded me of how I use to feel, and I was hooked. Now I am an Early Childhood Educators Assistant, working towards being an ECE, and loving every moment. I get to be a helping hand to all the kids, helping them not only understand the world but set them up for success moving forward in life."
